Default Need help with rims!

Hello everyone!! So im hoping to buy some new wheels for the summer. Im dropped by an inch and really really dont want to fender roll. Can you guys tell me what has worked for you in wheels? Dont want to spend money on wheels and then find out they dont fit lol... I wanted to go 17x7+40 in the front and 17x9+38 in the back.

fronts MIGHT be ok, but rears definitely not. with the rear tire spec, you will need a roll and tab relocation if you run a normal size tire. if you stretch something like a 215 on the 9" wide, you may be able to do it haha but it's NOT recommended. LOL

i think a 9 +63 for the rear is usually a safe offset for stock fenders. And you should be able to run a 245 tire, if not a 255.

hopefully someone else can confirm this, as i haven't had stock fenders in a long time so my memory is a little foggy.

You are correct with a +40 or +38 you will need tab relocate and roll fenders if you don't want to roll fender stay above +60 offset

you should just roll your fenders…doesn't hurt anything and will open up many more possibilities.

So i think im going with ccw lm5t. fronts 17x7.5+44 offset and in the back 17x9+48 offset running 245. im only going by the fitment guide. it said i can go+45 to +49 offset: 245 tires, 7.5" - 9.0" what do you guys think? idk how accurate the guide is?
Oh and thanks for your guys help really appreciated...

You can run a 255 on an 9in wheel with a +44 all you need would be just a fender roll

You can find off the shelf wheels with those specs. If you are dropping the cash for CCW, you would be much better off with wider wheels and a higher offset. Check the link in my sig for the specs of wheels that will fit with a simple fender roll.

If fender rolling is absolutely out of the question, I would get 8.5" +60 front and 10" +70 rear. That would allow you to run 225/45 front, 255/40 rear without any fender work and leave room to run wider tires in the future if you wanted more rubber.
