Default Rays 57Xtreme Wheels fitment question? Please help

Hey guys I am looking to purchase some new rims for my 07... I don't know much about the sizes and was doing some research... Now Evasive Motorsports has a set that I like a lot

Rays Gramlight 57Xtreme Wheel, 17x9.0/ 5x114.3 / Offset +40. Can I purchase this size for the 4 wheels ? Will it fit? My ap2 is all stock btw. Not lowered or anything like that.

Thanks for help!

Sure, if you don't mind the wheels sticking out past the fenders. Offsets this aggressive do not look good at stock height.

In my opinion you need a lowered car, rolled fenders, negative camber, and stretched tires to pull this off.

Width also plays a factor, but I would not run any offset lower than +50 on a stock height car.

they will 100% fit. i wanted to get that size my self but not many rims come with that offset now a days it seems. it should fit no problem without lowering. if you plan on lowering the car you will have to roll the fenders a bit. for reference to see the fitment, type in amuse s2000 on google. the orange one has that spec rim size with 255 40 17 tires on it.

Nate is correct. They are going to look terrible at stock height. They will stick way out and even at stock height can still rub under the right circumstances. You need rolled fenders (pulled fronts), relocated tabs and pretty aggressive alignment to them to fit.

Fact right here OP.

These are aggressive fitting wheels. They can be made to fit. But as is with your stock car, the tires and wheels will stick out past the fenders a good 25mm. Not a good look and you will eventually contact the fenders if you hit hard enough. People pull off these wheels in proper looking form when the car is lowered with the wheels tucking. In order for that to happen you need to modify the fenders. Roll all around, with bumper tab relocate in rear and a bit of a pull up front. Not a run of the mill bolt on and go option in wheels/tires here. But can be made to work, yes. Anyone that simply says "yes will fit" is doing you a disservice. Actually doing us all a disservice, because in 2 weeks we will all be getting another thread from you asking how to make your wheels fit, and you are going to get some poor responses from members that will ask why you didn't do proper research before you bought them.
