Default Alloy offset question

I have had a local Jap import company searching out for alloys for me and he has come up with 3 possibilities that I like.

This is the important bit of his email:

There are other wheels available such as the KEI Velocity in black and also silver finish, Aro speed RS gt and KEI Impact. They all are stunning wheels to look at but there is a draw back, They are only made in a 7J for all around fitment. All apart from the Velocity in black come out with the 215/45r17 Toyo's at

Had another email from the company after saying I need to investigate (see below)

HELP ! I am really confused now is this any good or should I be looking at other alloys ?? If so, can someone give me a short run down of some of the wheels available for the S2k in the correct offsets

"I am still awaiting some reply's from other manufactures, on reflection we could actually go slightly wider on those rims like 235/40r17 all round and you should still get the support you need on the rear."
