Default Alloys

wonder if anyone can help me please, im looking into getting some oz super leggra alloys on the 2000, the quotes i have all seem to be resonable but the thing thats bothering me is the size of the back tyres.

everyone seems to be shrinking the width of them, at the moment on the back is 245/45/16, quotes that i have got are 225/45, 235/35 on 17's, and 245/35 on 18s.

does anyone who has different alloys still have the 245s on the back?, im not really making much sense here i dont think. is it ok to run the car on those tyre sizes? the guys in the shop seem to think its fine, but it doesnt seem right.

Typically, those who have gone to 17" rims, go with 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear. You can do the same if you go with 18" wheels, but adjust the aspect ratio to maintain tire diameter. Of course, the wheels must be of the correct width and offset.

ps. This should be in the Wheel/Tire forum.

I have sold the 225/40R18 front and 255/35R18 rear. It is an aggressive fitment but they do work. You may want to have the fender lips rolled to run the 255 rear or you can choose a tire with a little less section width.
If I can help let me know.
