Another fitment/lowering question
Hey guys. I've searched and searched but I cannot find a question that is identical to mine. I have Eneki RPF1s on my S2000. I have my rear fenders rolled and bumper tabs relocated. Front fenders are stock. I am running a 225 45r17 in the front and a 255 40r17 in the rear. Currently I do not rub at all and I love the setup. I would like to do a .5 to 1 inch drop with lowering springs. I am aligned at -1.8 in the front and -2.9 in the rear on stock suspension. My question is, is there a set of lowering springs that will be stiff enough, that even with dropping some, I will still not rub at all?
I want to go lower without having to roll my front fenders and without having to pull the fenders in the rear.
My wheels are 17x9 +45 front and rear.

You're gonna need to give wheel widths and offsets..
But I'm going to assume you're running 17x8+45 front and 17x9+45 rear. The rear should be fine without pulling. You will need to roll the front fenders, and realistically they should already be rolled.
I'm on swift spec r's with 17x8+45 front and 17x9+45 rear.. rolled all around with no issues. I autocrossed all of last year just fine.

^What he said. I would bet if I looked at your front fender liners I would see some sign of rubbing. Just because you don't hear it doesn't mean it is not happening. You already rolled the rear fenders no sense in holding off on rolling the fronts.
Yep... Wheel specs would be nice. Sorry about that. You are correct. I am 17x9 +45 all the way around. The front fender liners have just a touch of rubbing, mainly on the tabs. I just held off on rolling the fronts because of how small the inner fender is and was afraid of making bacon fenders. Any tips for rolling the fronts?
Ok, so yeah you are going to be poking even more than my setup because I am 8+45 in the fronts. 100% will need to roll.
Also, there should be quite a few threads about your exact setup. I'd say 9+45 square RPF1's are the most common setup on S2000s. Most people run square tires, but some do stagger them like you have.

Beyond that it just takes someone that knows what they are doing and takes their time. The fronts are very thin and easier to screw up so taking your time and keeping them hot is key. The ride height is the only thing keeping your fenders safe at this point and even then damage could happen given the right situation. Have the fronts rolled and then you can lower it. That little inner fender is what the tire likes to grab causing fender and tire damage.

Hey, guys. Just wanted to let you now what I ended up doing. I ended up getting Tein S Tech lowering springs. Before I put them on I used a buddy's fender roller and rolled my fronts. I just made sure I used a lot of heat and took my time. They came out great! Slightly flared and got a close to flat roll, no bacon. I am now lowered on the springs and do not rub whatsoever. Thanks everyone.
