Default Another rpf1 17x9 tires question

I read most of the main rpf1 and didn't really get a clear cut answer

I plan on getting rpf1 17x9 +45 all around and need help w tires size. Ap1 with Koni yellows on lower perch + eibach prokit springs

I need help deciding on tires size that won't affect the speedometer, gear ratio

1. Should I get 215/45 ,225/45, or 235/45 in the front ?

2. I know I want 245/40 in the back, how much fender work is required if any.

I'm leaning toward the stock Ap2 tire size of 215/45 front 245/40 rear. Will it make the front look too small or skinny ?

Thanks

Tire width won't affect speedo...

Why are you bothering running a x9 wheel up front if you're not even gonna run a tire larger than 245?

Don't like the way 255 stick out pass the fender .

You will need more camber and some fender work and they won't stick out past the fender. a 215 on a 9" wheel will be pretty stretched. If you want to keep stagger then why not buy staggered wheels?

I'd go 235/40-17 front, 255/40-17 rear. Front fenders will likely need rolling. Rears, maybe not... Negative camber should help.

At that ride height you are going to have to roll the rear fenders regardless of a 245 or 255 rear. I have run 225/45 and 255/40 on multiple sets of 9" +45 and have been very happy.

No pull/flare is necessary, but the fender tab relocation is a standard part of the fender rolling job.

tyre width should affect the speedo somewhat. 245/40/17 vs 255/40/17 should have some speedo difference

I have a 255/40/17 on +45 rpf1 on front and rear. The rears rub slightly on big dips even with the bumper tab relocation and rolling with -3 deg camber (i am running 16 kg/mm springs on tein super racing raised to stock ride height). Have decided to do some fender work to ensure no rubbing so do take note of that.
