Default Another will this fit...

Hey,

Sorry for posting another one of these but I searched for hours and couldn't find an direct answer to my question about fitment at stock ride height.

I was wondering if this setup will fit without having to roll the fenders...I don't mind giving it some neg camber (I'm at stock ride height by the way...Mississippi roads are horrible).

RPF1s
F: 17x8 +45 with a 225/45/17
R: 17x9 +45 with a 255/40/17

Or should I just play it safe with the 215/245 combo?

Thanks!

yes and you will need a roll on the rear if ur lowered. i used to have the same set up. for more info go to the gallery page and the RPF1 thread. theres tons of useful information there for you

at stock height i think you'll be OK. you may have some rubbing with big weight transfers but otherwise you'll be alright. the wheel/tire will sit pretty flush with the fender.

if you are lowered, then you'll definitely have to roll your front and rear fenders.

I'm forced to stay at stock ride height due to road conditions in Mississippi so lowering won't be an issue.

You will not be OK even at stock ride height. I have had a few customers say that the RPF1 rubbed with the 245/40R17 17X9 ET45. I would say that with the 255/40R17 it will take a fender lip roll and negative camber. Even with the 245/40R17 negative camber would be needed.

It depends on you, I rode on some 18x8 +46 and 18x9 +44 with 225/255 tires for awhile at about a 1" drop and barely rubbed, only on big bumps. It didn't bug me. If you're at stock height you may rub a little but nothing major, if you're ok with that then go for it, otherwise roll your fenders or get higher offset wheels... with camber you should be fine too but youll need a decent amount which may look funny at stock ride height
