Default Anyone with 19'' rims?

I am thinking of going with 19'' rims (19X8 front) and (19X8,5 rear) and I was wondering how does the car may feel with very low profile.(35-30)
Anyone experienced this setup?
I found these 19'' wheels (two-piece) that I like too much (not available in 18'') but I am wondering if the car stiffness would change, creaking sounds appear, or that I may have to go balancing my wheels every now and then.
I am running with stock suspension but I will upgrade to TEIN Flex or RA (can't decide!)
I dont track the car and I dont have it for everyday use.

Thanks!

It's not much harder than 18's. I used Nitto 555's and ride wasn't that bad.

...so I guess, I can go for it??
The 19'' rims are not popular in forum and thats another reason that makes me wonder.
I know that the heavy weight is the main reason for not running with 19'', but I still need more opinions regarding car's handling & rolling.

Aris, I would not go with the 19". I was thinking of this as well but I decided to go with the 18" at the end. Profile is good as well.

And remember that our roads/highways sucks big time.

Am considering getting the Tein Flex as well.

I am runing 19's on my S, Me personally I love them... Ride wise, to me it's no difference from a 18 inch rim set up. You have a slight difference in road noise and vibration from 19's, probally cause I'm running 30 series tires. If roads are smooth the ride is comfortable, But with running the 30 or 35 series tires on rim, watch out for potholes, ripples, etc. on roads, you can easily bend your rims. Performance wise, it laggs. Low end it takes a while to get rolling. Stopping, if you have stocks brakes/pads, I would recommend getting a brake upgrade... If your into doughnuts and what not, you can still do them with the 19 inch set up. If your going to lower you S more than 2 inches with 19's get a set with a good offset beforehand, also you might have promblems with the front fenders getting dents from tire rubbing on hard bumps. All in all, if you S is not a daily driver, I say do the set up...

I was running 19's on my prelude and now am running the same rims on my S2k. Ride quality is quite good and i notice no difference from stock to these. I have never weighed stock rims with tires on, but i know my 19's way exactly 40 lbs with tires which was the same as my prelude rims. I only notice a little loss in traction seeing as i am running 215's all around and stock is 245 in the rear.

lude2S,

Its very difficult to me to believe that you didn't notice any difference from stock rims to 19''!!!

I visited some local tire/wheel shops past two weeks, talked to some people, and since the 19'' rim I was dying to have is a 2-piece wheel, everone advised me just to forget about them.(these wheels should be balanced every month )

I think I am going with the SSRs 18''.

Hey Aris...I ran 19's at first..you sacrifice alot of handling which is a big part of what this car is about....I switched to 17's and am very happy I still have some bling and maintained performance

19" Hagens

17" Meister S2R's
