Default Anyone drill or replace their hub

I've got a set of 5x130 Porsche wheels. I want to avoid drilling the wheels to 5x114.3. I'm sure drilling the rotor is cake, but what about the hub? Anyone have a pic of their hub without the rotor? Is their enough material on the hub to drill and tap 5x130?

I wouldn't reccomend redrilling the hubs for a different bolt pattern. The hub is the wheel attachment point. Drilling 5 new holes isn't going to make this critical part any stronger.

Find some wheels with the correct bolt pattern, and save the Porsche wheels for a Porsche.

This is not a good idea from a safety standpoint. But what are the offsets of the wheels? They might not fit anyway, even if you went through all the trouble.

I looked at the service manual and the studs are very close to the edge of the hub. If you went to 130mm, you'd probably be so close to the edge you wouldn't be able to tap it reliably. Safety would be a concern for sure!

Yeah, that was why I was asking if anyone had a picture of the hub... Thanks for the info... I wonder if I can make a custom hub...

The wheels are 18x8 ET 50mm up front, and 18x9.5 ET 55mm in the rear. According to TireRack, BBS LMs use these identical specs for the S2000. Using an adaptor would push them out too far.

Another option would be to mill down the wheel to compensate for an adaptor. But yeah, safety and wheel integrity still apply...

I'd really hate to drill a new set of holes in the wheel...

If you're dead set on using Porsche wheels on a Honda, could you maybe find replicas that would work? Which wheels are you talking about?

This is not a good idea. The center bore is also different on the S2K than the Porsche.

I have a set of BBS LMs that I've been trying to sell. Figured I'd give them a shot on the S2K since I can't move them... They should sell eventually...
