Default Ap1 wheels and tires suggestion!

Ok so hi,just bought an s2000 02 with stock suspension and wheels..
I want more controls and stability to go at the track this summer.
I want to drop of 1,25" or 1" not sure yet, with these:
http://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/p...oducts_id=4788
Or
http://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/p...oducts_id=4788

So with 17" wheels and some 15mm spacer what will be the best offset,mag/tire size for the track/street?

I'm not a big mechanism so if you got some suggestion of not complicated setup for an ap1 I'll take it!!!

If you plan on tracking the car, you are gonna want a decent amount of rubber. I would suggest Enkei RPF1 Wheels, 17x9+45 Square, all wrapped in 255 tires. Keep in mind that this set up will require some fender work. You might even need to run wider fenders in front.

mechanism?

that being said, if you add a spacer be extra sure you get full engagement of the threads on the studs. I've seen wheels come OFF of a car at speed and come sailing towards the track workers. don't be a tool.

I love the rs-3 hankooks if you're looking for a tire solution that you can drive to the track.

good luck

Why would you pick wheels such that you'd end up running spacers? With most aftermarket wheels you shouldn't want to...
AP1 makes a fine street/track car on OEM wheel and tire sizes, btw, just be sure you get appropriate make/model (Bridgestone re11a, Dunlop Z2, Yokohama AD08, RS3, etc).

Definitely don't want spacers for 9" +45 offset... Might run staggered tire widths to run them up front without too much work.

You can run 10.5 wheels with 275 tires with out doing any fender work only if the off set is +65-73.
