CURRENTLY I'M RUNNING 225/45/17F RE050A and 245/40/17r re050 on ap2 wheels, eibach springs, stock shocks, west end aggressive alignment. i was being dumb and didn't order the rear re050a's on sale and now the proper sizes are gone. i was just wondering if the 245/45/17r re050a would work with my current front tire size. i actually like my current setup compared to stock, as it allows me to carry more speed during turn in, however with the reduced tread width of the 245/45/17r, would i be asking for oversteer galore. to compare

I just put on the RE050A Pole Positions in a 225/45/17 (front) and 255/40/17(rear) combination, I thinks it's a better fit than what you're looking at. (And still on sale at the tire rack)

The 245/45R17 is not a good idea. They are too tall and will throw off anti lock brakes. I like Captain Mike ssize option better.
