I have 2 sets of ap2v1's and decided to run all the rears for a square setup. I know they wont just slap on and work. I have read either bore out the hub or get spacers. My more direct question is does anyone have a spacer they recommend? This is what I found so far and I believe it should work.

If I had to choose, I would bore the wheels out. All 5mm spacers are pretty much going to be the same, most of the cost is the extended studs that are included. H&R is a quality piece should you go that route. I believe it is recommended, if not required, to replace the hubs as well when changing the studs.

Some people run 5mm spacers without extended studs although I wouldn't really recommend it, especially for track use.

 

I should have also mentioned that I already have extended studs. Also these wheels are for city and highway driving... I have another set of wheels that are 17x8.5 that I run for autox and track

 

5mm spacers are fine to run without extended studs, many do it without issue track/street, but that would be the limit. You want a minimum of 6 full turns out of the lug nut to get a proper hold.
