Default 7mm Wheel Spacers

So ive been searcing a lot regarding wheels spacers and their pronenlyness to make wheels go flying off. To me it sounds a bit drastic. The ones I have ordered are only 7mm for the rears to make my +50 to come out a bit more.

all in all, will this be okay? or are they compeletely unsafe?

Thanks in advance!

I think 7mm is pushing it without extended studs. IMO, I wouldn't go over 3mm without new studs, but I've seen plenty of people say that 5mm is ok.

I ran 5mm spacers on my old setup. Never had a problem, even took a long road trip to Texas and back to tenn, and many trips to atl, no problem. Is alittle scary cause there wasn't much stud but she held.

Would have been a good idea to ask this question before you ordered. As others have indicated, this probably isn't a safe setup. Given that it's a completely aesthetic upgrade, I'm going to file this one under "not worth it".

You will lose almost 5 full turns of the lug nut. 5mm will probably be fine but it isn't recommended.

Most sanctioning bodies require a minimum of 3/8" thread engagement. Personally I want the thread engagement to be at least equal to the diameter of the stud. On our 12mm X 1.5 pitch studs, 3/8" would be 6 1/2+ complete revolutions of the nut. 12mm engagement would be 8 complete revolutions of the nut.

Here is a little clip of properly torqued nuts that did not have the proper thread engagement:
