Default AP2V3 rims

What is a reasonable price to ask for rims in good condition (no curb rash)? I'm looking to purchase and see some offered but think a $1,000 is high.

I paid $900 for a set with decent tires and that included shipping. They were advertised as not having rash but when I got them the did have some rash.

I got lucky and picked mine up locally for $425 with the original tires. One wheel had very slight rash that I had repaired for $75. I got 8K miles out of the tires and sold the TPMS for $90, bringing the cost to $410 after the repair. That said, the going rate at that time, (2010), was about $800 plus shipping for wheels only.
