Default ASA AR1?

Hey Jim I like the look of the asa ar1 on your site but I was wondering if it comes with a polish lip? and is it possible to powder coat these wheels without any problems because I read somewhere on this site that you say it will make it soft when heated or something? Well let me know, really interested, thanks.

The ASA wheel does have a polished lip. As far as powder coating wheels goes you can soften the wheel from too much heat in the powder coating process. I would think with the polished lip that it may be difficult on this wheel.

fyi, i bought these from jim and had the centers refinished in mercury silver. man -they came out awesome. you cannot tell they have been done. and yes, the lip is polished. do a search for asa ar1 - there is a recent thread with photos of my car with the rims. i can recommend a shop here in michigan that does great work - refinishing wheels is all they do.

bbs rs-gt. my first choice rim for my car - but it didn't come in sizes for the s2000
