They are great for the price, a bit on the heavier side compared to some other wheels, but they are solid wheels and look great too!

I've been running ASA's for almost three years now and I get a lot of complements on my car and the wheels.

I ran the asa's for 2 years on my s, no problems whatsoever. Great wheel for the price I wanted a different look and purchased some enkei rpf's recently as thats the only reason I parted with the asa's.

I went on the same route he did ^^^

I have to say I was a proud owner of these ASA. They were great and had no problems with them. I owned them for less then a year and was running Tein lowering springs.

Then just went with a totally differnt look and went with the RPF1's w/ BC coilovers.

I believe I sold the ASA w/ tires for 350.

Hi all.

I am "starting my whoring" and wanted to know if any one here has kept these wheels for more than a year or two. Are they reasonably durable? My S is my daily driver and I live in an urban area. I don't want wheels that I'm going to throw away in a year.

Also, why are people making a big deal about the weight? Tirerack lists the AR1 (21lb) as only 1lb heavier than BBS LMs (20lb) in 17in??? Is that actually significant and isn't that pretty close to the new OEM wheels?

I like mesh style wheels and am wondering if these are worthwhile or whether I should just save up for a set of BBS LMs.
I've been running my ASA's for three years now. Andd just put some new BFG KDW2's on them last week.
