uhhh, because no one's gonna want them if they don't fit....no matter how cheap they are.

would YOU want a set if they don't fit?

Assumming Tire Rack and ASA people can work on getting the correct offsets, a GB would be great! I'm all for on saving money. Maybe ASA can reconsider and offer 18s as well.

I would prefer a higher offset BUT for people that don't plan on lowering their car I don't think that offset would be much of a problem. I would run a 245 tire instead of the 255 as well which would help a little

yes it'd help a little, but the rim itself appears to be outside of the fender as well. For me, I do'nt think my current setup is ideal because under heavy load it'll probably rub.

I believe he is going to return the ASA's and Tirerack is giving him a discount towards 18" SSR's, if I'm not mistaken.

We took the wheels and tires back. It looks like you would need to run 205/50R17 front and 245/40R17 rear to make this work on the S2000. I don't know why it didn't fit because the offset is the same as the SSR wheels and they fit fine.

right, but is there a solution to this? i mean, tirerack has a potential hot seller (relatively lightweight 17", forged wheel, and finally cheap enough and in THE CORRECT OFFSET!), if the sales staff and the marketing dept. don't work on this to get a solution out of it, then i'm going to be real disappointed - both from a consumer and a manager's POV. contacting the manufacturer and discuss the impact of this may help, but i'd like to see some kind of solution to this.

I agree minster. I almost bought a set, but wanted to see actual pics on a S2000. Luckly I waited.
