I guess you are talking about the OE 16" sizes. They just don't make a 245/45R16 for the rear so you have to run 225/50R16 rear and 205/55R16 front.

Hi Jim,

I was the guy you spoke to on the phone abou these and the SO-3's

As an fyi to other members who need all seasons, the Avon 245 fitment is only 2/10 of an inch narrower than the stock SO-2, so it is not so bad.

You do lose the grip for sure! but you make up for it in all-season wonder tire which i have driven thru HEAVY downpours as if it were only a sprinkle at 80mph with no hydro action.

I might get the SO-3 in the spring with some volks.

only thing i would recommend is increased tire pressure on the avon. the sidewall is not confidence inspiring. ;-)
