Default AZENIS RT-615

i bought my car with aftermarket tires on it, its time to replace them

i have looked into So2's but i dont track my car in anyway so i cannot justify the prce and tread wear. i figured i would meet in the middle of performance, price and treadwear and get the falken AZENIS RT-615

i was reading that if you run anything other than s02 225's in the rear you need to go bigger to 245's...... but i was looking on falken's website and it says they do not offer a 245 in 16inch. i know alot of people are running these what size is everyone going on OEM rim............ THANKS!!!!

Personally, I wouldn't try and run those tires if you are not doing any kind of track driving. There are much better choices of tires that come in the proper size for the OEM wheels. Why force the wrong sized tire for the wheel?

I am running the Azenis but I am running a 17" wheels so that I could get sizes that work. 225-45-17 in the front and 255-40-17 in the back.

uhh right so the only size of the above that the azenis come in for a 16" wheels is 225/50 I would say that is the wrong size for both front and back. Unless you want to run non staggered. I am just saying there are lots of other wheel choices that have the proper size for OEM wheels.

i really want to stick with OEM AP1 for now....... but 225 in the rear with the falkens isnt going to have the same contact patch as so2's correct?

can you guys recommend another tire thats great bang for the buck that offer a 245 in a 16 inch?

+1 (or 225/50 in if you want more grip up there)

Better in rain from what I've heard and cheaper than the 615
