I can get a good deal on B.F. Goodrich G-force at Costo. What tire size? 245/45/16 & 205/55/16 ? Thanx.

Tire make/model selection are FAR more important than SIZE selection. Unfortunately, the tire manufacturers have taken to giving VERY different tires the same *names*. So, BFGoodrich "g-Force" could mean any of at least 9 *VERY* different tires designed for *VERY* different usage.
The beginning of figuring out what kind of tire you want is to determine *exactly* what your usage profile is. Will you be taking to the track on these tires? Is there the possibility of snow usage? Is long life a major concern (with the understanding that longer life generally means less grip)? Etc., etc., ...
Thanks Guys,
The model is G-Force KDWF, the price out-the-door is $293.88 for the two rear and $276.76 for the front. I dream about track days but don't get out there. Long life is the priority and mostly freeway driving is the reality.

KDWF? You sure it's not KDWS? That's an all-season tire, do you travel to snowy areas?
FWIW, Tire Rack has G-Force Sports (Summer tires) in AP1 sizes for $348 for all four.
Tire Rack is an awesome resource for selecting tires. Clicky on the banner above ^^^
Do a search on tires in the "Ultra High Performance" category (or "Ultra High Performance All Season" if there is the possibility you will drive on snow). Note that tires in these categories will have less grip than OEM tires! But they'll last longer. Higher UTQG => longer life (generally...).
You'll find the most options in original AP1 sizes, 205/55-16 F, 225/50-16 R. If you want 245/45-16 rears, selection is quite limited. You might consider going 205/50-16 fronts if you get the 245/45-16 rears to avoid the fronts being larger in diameter than the rears.

205/50-16 fronts look a helluva lot better with shorter-than-stock rears
205/50-16 is more than 3/4" shorter in diameter compared to 205/55-16. 24.1" vs 24.9" in diameter.
