Default bbs lm question

hey guys. i have a set of wheels im looking at their staggered BBS LM's 18x8 +35 and 18x9 +35. im wondering if they will fit on my s2 properly cause a local shop is selling them for $499 new and thats a pretty good price for a new set of rims.(yes they are reps)

i need advice if they will fit? what tire size i should go with? not looking into stretching them crazy but a slight stretch wouldnt be a problem yes i will be rolling my fenders cause i will be lower the car. please put in your inputs about this do too not knowing how long this set of wheels will last. thanks everyone

Have a look at the wheels and tires thread - I think you will find that you will have to roll your fenders because a 35 offset is pretty shallow - they will be sticking out pretty good.

Fender roll maybe tab relo and some negative camber. You should be able to fit a 225 front and 255 rear.

One thing to be aware of is another member bought LM reps and the spokes hit the brake caliper. You may want to see if the place will let you test fit them on the car to make sure the don't hit anything. Just my opinion but you would be better off saving a little more and buying quality wheels not reps.

These aren't that much more and they have better offsets and are legit BBS wheels. Just something to think about.

im just wondering why the rep. wheels so cheap compare to real one?
is it because weight? plus brand name value?

how much weight this rep. bbs lm wheel going to be?

I'm also in market to get bbs lm rep. just for looks since i do have set of ap1 wheels for track day
don't wanna spend tons of money just for the look..

Quality, strength, weight, etc are all reasons the real ones cost much more. Plus BBS has money in the design and testing of the wheel where the rep just makes a mold of the real wheel and makes a cheap copy of it.

Video about the strength difference. Not for BBS but it is a good demo.
