Don't know much about BBS wheels but I can point you to Wheel Choice which has this set below for $1500 right now (if not sold). Forged. Orig retail about $4K (they tell me).

18X7.5 (+48)
HOLE-P.C.D.: 5X114.3

The biggest problem one has in working with a same-width wheel size is the fact that creating a good stagger is difficult. Yes, a Falken FK-451 215/40/18 would work in the front, but a 235/40/17 would be 25.4-inches tall (might be too tall) and give one only 20mm of stagger between the two. You can't fit anything larger than a 235 on a 7.5-inch wheel (I believe BMW goes that high) but I know most manufacturers only recommend 225mm on a 7.5-inch wheel using a 40% aspect ratio tire. Having said all of that however, if the owner of an S2000 is basically just tooling around town and what not, the 215/40/18 and 225/40/18 combo might be ok as would the 25.4-inch rear tire (though speedo would be slightly off). Keeping OEM measurements (tread stagger/offsets, etc) should definitely be one's desired goal when changing to different tire/wheel combos but the owners driving style and intentions should receive no less consideration. For those not interested in track racing, your choices open up considerably. Same sized wheels though make it almost impossible to find that acceptable margin which exists if you can opt for a wheel with varying widths amongst the same size diameter. Hope that makes sense. It's early a.m. here.

They buy custom wheels from Japan (most of the time they are used) but in this case, the BBS' were a display set.
