Lots of searching. No definitive answers.

I like the tail-happy nature of my AP1 right now. I will be going up to the standard 17" Volk size*, and am wondering what the best Bridgestone tire would be to keep the handling characteristics the same as they are now.

I've heard the OE AP2 RE050's are great, but the skinnier front tread width (6.7" vs. 7.1" for S-02) makes me think I'll run a risk of some understeer.

What about the S-03 Pole Position? The front tread width is 8", which actually would make me worry about rubbing.

Any advice?

You can go with 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 to get the wider contact patch. If I can help let me know.

The RE050A Pole Position is better handling thant the S03 Bridgestone. They do come in the 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 sizes for the car.

i have the oem re050 and i experience mild understeer. nothing bad at all.
when its time for new tires im gonna get the re050 in 225/45/17 and 255/40/17.
