Default BF Goodrich KDW tires

Just got a set of these and trying them for the first time.
At about 50 plus MPH it feels as I'm driving a big truck with mud tires.
They start humming and I feel like vibration but not really vibration, I believe it's more the humming sound they make.

Anyone else has had first hand experience with these tires?

Maybe they need to break in? Nice tread pattern, and 340 treadwear correct?

I have these tires also. They do tend to make a little noise, but i have no vibration what so ever. You might want to check and make sure they balanced your tires properly.

I never had them on my car, but my friend has them on his 240 SR20....Ive driven on them extensively, and Im not the biggest fan. Like you said, they are pretty noisy. They suck in the wet. They are pretty good in the dry though. The goodyear F1s are better tires IMHO.

The BF Goodrich is just not the same level of performance as the original tires that come on the S2K. They should wear better and they are less money and if you are not an aggressive driver they would be fine.
I do think there are better tires though. If you are having vibrations I would take them back in to check the balance.

I have these on my car right now. I was warned of them being noisy but I didnt notice any difference at all. I did not notice any vibrations as well. What I did notice was they were pretty sticky. I can no longer chirp in 2nd gear compared to the Nitto555. It was a decision between these or the Falken 615's but seeing that most of my driving was gonna be daily driving, I choose the more expensive, longer life tire, over the cheaper shorter life tire.

The reason they are a little more noisier is because the tread pattern is a little wider than most tires. Mine seem to be just slightly louder than previous tires.

Plus, I cant here it much over my T1R Sparrow

i have these after i ran stock 05 rubber. i liked the stock rubber so much better. so sticky, so sure footed. i break the rear loose on turns with the bf kdw's. not a fan, but they came with the used rims and they were new, so im gonna use them up. as much as they are more expensive and last shorter, i really want the re050's again. they were so nice. theres actually half there life left on the stock rims, hmmmm, i might have to throw them back on just to enjoy. doin me no good just sitting in the garage.
