Default Blitz Type 01 Wheels

Hey there,

I've found a sweet deal on some Blitz Type 01 Wheels in mint condition. But my concern is the offset.
17x7.5 front and 17x8 rear with a +35 offset all around
Would these fit?
The current owner says, he was lowered all the way on ground controls with these wheels without camber and roll, and it work perfectly fine, no rubs, nothing.
But when I did a few searches here on s2ki, I found some saying it wont fit? Will stick out/not flush with fenders? and some say it would fit with a fender roll and negative camber or spacers.

Now I am confused??? any help would be appreciated!

btw, I own a 07 AP2 lowered on tein flex about 1.5in (1 finger gap left) if that helps?

Thanks

if a 17x9+45 will fit with no modification, then a 17x8+35 will fit.

and if 17x8+45 fit with no modifications, the 17x7.5+35 only stick out 5mm more than that.

If he was running 245 series tires in the back then he is LYING to you.... it all depends on his tire size though

green machine - Where are you getting your info? 17x8/9 +45 WILL rub if you are lowered... I rubbed with 18x9 +55 when I was slammed.... I also rubbed with 18x8 +46 18x9 +44...

I'm running 18x8 +45 and 18x9 +50 with 225/40 and 255/35 and I had to do a very mild roll on the front and tuck the plastic liner up away from the tire, the rear I had to roll and relocate the bumper tab or it would rub on the slightest bumps. For reference, i'm about 2" lower than stock with 2.5° rear camber and 1.8° front camber.

i am running the same sized blitz type 01 but with a +51 offset. your +35 offset is much more aggressive. i run a 245 tire in the rear and a 215 up front. lowered 1 inch and they fit perfectly.

depending on your tire size, you will have to run some negative camber or do some fender rolling.
