brake and offset question
Hey guys
I have volk te37 17x7.5, offset is 48 in the front. What brakes will I be able to use? I know I can use wilwood without adding spacers, but if i decide to go brembo or spoon would it be possible?

OEM brakes or Wilwoods are you best bets. You will need a +40 (or lower offset) with the wheel you have to run Spoons or Brembos so what I would suggest/recommend is extended studs with a 10mm spacer or new wheels or just new front wheels with lower offsets, like the +43 front and then slap on a 3mm spacer and you should be good to go. The curvature of the TE37 is flat, thus making it tough..
Also keep in mind that with a +40 or lower offset, rubbing in the front may and will set in depending on your camber, how low you are, and what size tires your running..
Good luck..

Thanks for all the help, I haven't done anything to the suspension yet so still stock. Also is running a 10mm spacer good for tracking the car? I hear that it is very unsafe to track with a 10mm spacer, any info on this?
You have to know more than just the offset to make sure a wheel is going to clear. The shape of the wheel has a lot to do with it. You really have to decide what brake you want and then check the wheels against it.
