Bridgestone Potenza Sport vs Firestone Friehawk?

I have an idea..
I’m going to try the Bridgestone Potenza sport tires on the original wheels, and I will let you know how I like them. Bridgestone has a 90 day return policy, so if I don’t like I might switch to the Michelin pilot super sport twos. I really like the Michelin‘s before, but I’d rather try the one with a 90 day warranty first. They’re a bit cheaper than Michelin‘s too.

I just put them on and they’re not too bad for the money. But I don’t care about money, and will probably move up to a set of four Michelin pilot sport twos. The Bridgestone Potenza Sports have a little bit of a strange looking sidewall, and they handle OK, but perhaps they will get better with time. I wish there was some kind of measurement of sidewall strength I could look at.

That was fast! I was expecting it to take a few weeks. Lol. Often times there is a film on the new tires from the casting or whatever. It takes a few hundred miles to really tell how they will feel. My old Pilot Sports were sketchy for a couple hundred miles at first too.

Yeahhhhh. Judging a tire by mileage prior to the release agent coming off is like judging a pizza before it goes into an oven

I have the Bridgestone Potenza sport on the car for some 1000 Km. Previously i had the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 fitted.
I LOVE the bridgestone. The grip is better, the steering is a little bit more exact but the best is, the damping of the Bridgestone fits my stock S2000 perfect and the tire is not to sensitive for tire pressure. It give a better feel around corners.
Will buy them again. Dont see any reason to buy or test a annother tire.

What size wheels? (Profile indicates a 2002 car, 16" wheels.)

Don't know what negative camber you are running front and rear but if you add a little negative toe what will take care of the camber wear. I ran -1.6 front with -0.05 toe and -2.0 rear with -0.10 total toe. Hope this helps in the future.
