So who has these in the stock size (215/245 AP2)? Being that the fronts (215 RE01R) are about 1" wider than the stock 215 RE050, how do the RE01Rs feel?
Keeping stock size (AP2 215/245) going from RE050 to RE01R seems like going from 195/245 to 215/245 (because the 050 is so narrow). How will this effect handling? Lot more oversteer?

Just received mine today (AP1 sizes). Having watched things since I ordered on 2-25, the detail on my order changed from current production RE-01s becoming 2006 vintage rears and new fronts, and finally all vintage 2006. This most probably because my order also included a pair of rear Hankook RS2s which were backordered until last week. Can't complain given the substantial price reductions associated with the older tires. I'll probably be fitting the RE-01Rs at the end of the 2010 or beginning of the 2011 season. With the cooler temps and lower humidity around here, and being stored in sealed dark poly bags, they'll still be good to go when needed.
A quick look at the tires (haven't cut the band straps and started the storage bagging process yet) showed the fronts with a 0806 manufactured date (end of Feb '06) and rears 1006 (mid-Mar '06). The Hankooks ironically were 2508 (early June '08).
Thanks Jim!
