Default Buying CE28's need some advice.

Hi guys I'm buying some VOLK Ce28's and just wondering if I could get some basic info on them. I tried searching and stuff but I'm really looking for some solid answers.

There sort of off of a friend and hes says there...

VOLK RACING CE28 MATTE BLACK FACE W/ TIMEATTACK RED

18 x 7.5 + 50 w/ yokohama S Drive 225/40R18 ( FRONT) 85% THREAD
18 x 8.5 + 52 w/yokohama S Drive 255/35R18 (REAR) 85% THREAD

Now by no means am I doubting him but what should I look for here in terms of authenticity? Hes asking quite a bit but the color itself is pretty rare I assume. I don't no if it was even ever offered in this color or if it was repainted at a later time.

Any input is helpful thank you!

** Also IF he copied down the offset right should that fit on my car no problem? My car isn't lowered or anything and has zero suspension mods. I don't plan on lowering it anytime soon just because my driveway is way to high.

easiest is to look for the stickers on the inside barrel of the wheel. see this for sale thread for pics of the stickers:

Then i would look and make sure all the text forged into the lip of the wheel are correct.

They were offered in that color for a limited time and it doesn't guarantee they came from the factory that way, but there is a good chance they did. The tire sizes are perfect and they should fit without rubbing at stock height.

i have that exact setup with 225/255 same offset and wheel sizes. I did rub when slammed, so i rolled the fenders front and rear. I am not as low now and the fitment is excellent.

Sweet well I bought them and they look awesome! I haven't gotten an alignment yet but i drove home on the highway and it wasnt tilting to the left or right. Should I get one anyways? It actually drove better in a straight line then my previous wheels lol.

I'd get an alignment just to be sure your tires will wear properly
