Buying Wheels and tires... Please Help!
I saw these 17x7 rims for a great price on eBay.
Offset- +40mmBolt Pattern
Universal 5x100 and 5x114.3

Would they work on my Ap1 2003 S2000?
I was wanting to run a non staggered setup with tires that I could rotate. Is that possible?
I use it for a daily driver and not worried about slight loss of performance.
What concerns would you have?

But, according to the offset calculator the +40 with 225/45 tire up front will stick out 25mm (a whole inch) more compared to the stock 16x6.5 +55 with 205/55 tire. The fitment guide recommends not lower than a +43 offset up front and that's with 205 tires. You may be OK and not have rubbing up front if your suspension is stock height and if you just cruise on turns and are lucky enough not to hit bumps hard. All I'm trying to say is, before you spend the $700+ (w/tires+mount/balance) think about whether you are willing to take a chance that they will rub on the fender. Its definitely hard to find inexpensive non-staggered wheels that fit our cars. I hope another member can recommend an alternative in this price range. Maybe Jim@tirerack will chime in with a suggestion

Because the wheels are narrow they could fit but it is not a good fit on the car. You would be in a 225/45R17 or 215/45R17 all the way around. Make sure they are going to have the correct center bore as well. The S2K has the larger bore in the front than the rear.
