Default can i run wider tires on my wheels?

i have 17 inch asa ar1's, 7 inches wide in the front, 8 inches in the back currently have 225's and 245's

having alot of traction issues, mainly from the rear

it's time to buy new tires, wondering if i can go up a size or 2 without rubbing or throwing anything off

i'm lowered 1 inch with tein springs

any help/info appreciated, thanks

What are the offsets?

not sure, i got the wheels off tirerack and i dont remember seeing the offset anywhere
