Default Cap in center of AP2 Wheels

I am going to have new RE 11s installed next week on my MY06 S2000. My question is does the cap in the center of the OEM wheels have to be removed
before the wheel is removed from the car.

no... but you might want to pop it out to prevent fitting damage.
