I recently visited CCW, since I live couple hours away, talked to John about fitment.
Initially I was looking to buy a set of 17"s LM5T 245F / 255R.
Than I thought... what about a set of good, deep 16" with a nice lip.
I am planning to lower my car about 1.5-2 inches. For sure I am not going for the 18".
Any good advise?

 

17s have better tire choices. And better resale value.

I would definitely avoid 16's. The tire choice is just not there to justify it. Between 17s and 18s I would go with 18s only because for the cost of CCWs I am going to get the widest possible wheel to fit 285s all around. But if 18s are not an option definitely do 17s.
