Default CE28 Fake or Legit

Hey guys, so I'm about to pick these wheels up tomorrow.

Anyone can vouch whether its genuine or not?
A friend of mine says its legit because all the letterings were on the wheels and with the correct font.
I honestly am not really sure about the legitimacy of the wheels because there's no fabrication date sticker intact on the inner barrel.

here's the link to the ad

I'm going to pick these wheels up tomorrow morning so fast responds would be appreciated!

Thanks

Yes, the bolt pattern should be 5x114.3 but he was using them on his S.
AFAIK Volk rays did not make 17x7 wheels.
Not saying in a negative sentence but I think that the seller does not know much about wheels, one reason I said that is he even listed the wrong bolt pattern and he does not know the offset.

The tires are square fitted and apparently they sit flush with the fender.
225 width on a 17x7 would be meaty fitment, am I correct?

CE28 does not come in dual bolt pattern.
If you see the link I provided, there are two types of holes, one with the smaller hole and the other one is with the bigger holes in which we put our wheels studs in.

I might come to take a look tomorrow with a digital weight scale. It should weight about 14~ lbs right?

Yeah the weight is the easiest way to tell. The wheel should be 14-16 lbs I think. But since the have tires it is harder to tell.

Just went there to see the wheels. It weighs 39lbs with the tires on. It was way too pricey for a set of counterfeit wheels :/

I'd pass even if they were authentic. There are better specs out there for the S2000, especially a 9" rear. It shouldn't be too hard to find a set in that price range because they are fairly common.

With tires on, weight wise, it's about right.

My CE28 17x7.5 fronts were 14.5lbs, rears 17x9 were 16.0. Tire weights are listed on tirerack site, 20 to 25 pounds is normal.

I'd say they are real but they are missing all of the stickers so they've most likely been refinished. Sizes are tough to say, the pics on the car look like the rears stick out more than the S2000 fitment. 17x9 +63.
