Default CE28N

Will a Volk CE28N 17x8.5 +45 and 17x9.5 +47 fit on MY01 without any fender modifications?

Sorry if it's a noob question, i'm still new to the whole wheel sizing for S2000's.

The CE28N also comes in a 17x7.5 +50 and 17x9.0 +63 which will probably be better. Are you wanting the slightly wider wheels for some reason. The 7.5 and 9.0 rims will be wide enough for just about any tire that would fit without fender modification.

if you're not dropped, you should be ok.

you'll have more problems in the front then in the rear if you lower your car. a fender roll and negative camber, some 225 and 255 tires, and you'll be good. You may be able to get away without rolling anything... maybe.

personally, I would prefer to see 17x8.5 +45 and 17x9.5 +47 than the usual 7.5 +50 and 9.0 +63

if you are lowered on that height you would want 215/245 + fender rolling and some camber. at stock height it will look weird since they stick out past the fenders.

I plan on lowering my car using the Tein SRC coils, shouldn't that be stiff enough to prevent any rubbing?

I ran Tein Super Drift coils on my S14 240SX and was able to run NISMO LM GT4 350Z spec rims with no rubbing issues even when my car was lowered 2".

240 and s2000 are wwaaayyyy different when it comes to wheels fitment.

If you roll your fenders, they'll fit no problem... I'd just spend the $100 and roll 'em. It's not noticable anyways. If you don't roll them, you'll have to add camber.

run 225/45/17 and 255/40/17, they'll be stretched, that will help.

yeah, i plan on running 225 and 255 anyway. it's basically the exact same set up i ran on my 240 and i loved it. it was 18x8.5 with 225 and 18x9.5 with 255 but the offsets were like +25 and +30.

i guess i'll just roll the fender, but they won't stick out at all right? and how flush would they be running stock alignment specs? (i plan on dropping my car about 1.5")
