Default Is CE28N the only 17" forged choice?

I used to be in the market for RE30's but they've changed available offset to a 43 instead of 50 since the ClubSport II was released.

I'm looking for 17", lightweight, no fender rolling.

I have a CR that is primarily a track car. My primary objective is cutting weight and it would be nice to get a 235 on the front.

Attachment is a Python program to help see wheel size and offset changes as a thank you for your help.

Tsw makes some forged but they aren't as light as volks. Forgestar also offers custom offsets for 17's again not as light as volks but they cost a good deal less. Advan makes some nice light cast wheels.

I have these on my CR with a 235 upfront. They work well on track events.

Rays released the new 17" Volk Racing ZE40 in S2k Specs:

17x7.5 +48 | 17x9.0 +61

Maybe those will be something that you are interested in.

hate to burst your bubble but i have personally seen s2000 spec ce28's catch fenders... if your tracking your car i highly suggest rolling them or you'll have the wheel/tire roll them for you with unpleasant results.

Were they running a larger tire? I've maxed out the stock camber and have reluctantly accepted that I'll be using OEM tire size.

You should be fine then if your just going to be using stock tires... i believe the guy that was running the ce28 in s2k offsets were running sticker tires like RS3 225/45/17 up front.

^I have seen it happen with OEM wheels also with stock tire sizes. All depends on how low the car is and the right set of circumstances for it to happen. Turned wheel plus compressed suspension plus rubbed through the liner and it can happen. Camber doesn't stop that from happening either since the front wheel turns it can still rub and catch the front fender under the right situation. It doesn't always happen but it can happen. Regularly check your fender liner from signs of rubbing near the fender lip. Missing tabs are the first indicator.

It certainly can!! It seems the topic of rolling fenders on the s2000 is blasphemy and sacrilegious to some on this forum...

Lots of newbies to whom rolling fenders is scary. Also lots of people from other car makes where they have probably seen some really poorly rolled fenders (hell there is plenty of S2000's with really poorly rolled fenders). So that is probably why. I cut my fenders and did over fenders and have rolled tons of S2000's at this point so it really isn't a big deal to me but to those that have no idea how or where to have it done it can be scary.

Also funny that there is 3-4 threads about the same wheels on the first page of this forum.
