Recently had my CE28’s powder coated and couldn’t get new inserts from Volk/Rays unless I got completely new (chrome and gold) center caps. These caps are 2 piece which was a little bit annoying so had to glue the inner ring back to the main piece (might be able to make out the ring in the pic). Anyways, I made these inserts out of carbon vinyl and 8mm plastic, super easy if anyone needs a hand I’d be happy to send over the files and a quick how to.

I hope this helps anyone who needs new inserts for new wheels or after powder coating. Best part is you can make whatever you want which is neat

 

Thats a great idea. I have some old volk VR caps that the logo is messed up on 2 of them.
