Default Volk Racing Center Caps

I bought these limited edition center caps to go on my 17" TE37's, but I can't figure out how to get them on (or they probably don't fit). I have a different set of center caps on my ce28's on my other car and no problem mounting the center caps on. The paint is starting to chip around where the center caps go, so I just gave up...am I missing something here? On Evasive's site, it says it fits the 17" te37??? I have the red 17x9.5 +12 te37's and I would assume that the width and offset wouldn't matter right? 17" te's are all the same yeah (center cap wise)?

Rubber mallet, a towel, and some patience. Center the cap on the wheel, cover the cap with the towel and whack away at it with the rubber mallet. One side of the cap wil lock down, hold that side down with some pressure with your fingers, then rubber mallet the opposite side that's still sticking up. If that don't work, I'd run the wheels cap less.

And i hope you're doing this while the wheel is laying flat on the ground. do not try and install the center caps while the wheels are still on the car.

Do they have rubber o-rings on the back?

I tried a rubber mallet, guess I was just scared of hitting it hard because everything is so new and shiny lol. Yes the wheels were off the car and they do have come with rubber o-rings. I'll give it a try again after work, but with a towel this time. Thanks for the tip.

I just got my center caps in for my CE28 and have the opposite problem. The caps just pops in and out with ease. I did a quick search and some have mentioned replacing the outer rubber o-ring with the one that came in the box. The problem is it seems like the outer ring is in a groove and doesn't want to come off. I've had these wheels for 6 years and decided to finally get center caps and now I can't even get them on properly. Help is appreciated.
