Civic Type-R FD2 wheels on S2K
Hey guys.
I was wondering if anyone ever saw or heard about 5 Lug Civic wheel swap to AP1/2 S2000.
These are both wheels that I really like, but the offset could be an issue. First one is a set of 18" FD2 Type-R OEM Wheels Offset 60 and second is an 17 "EP3 Type-R OEM Wheels offset 45

Adding wheel spacers will lower the wheel's offset but will not change wheel width. Both wheels are very nice looking but just not appropriate size wise for the S2000.
This is a serious question? the other issue is I would bet the hub bore of the civic wheels is different than the s2000 which makes the front an issue.

Too narrow
Too narrow
I know the original rear wheels (17x8.5) are wider than the front ones (17X7). How about a wheel spacer? Would that solve the problem in the rear?

I wouldn't have started the topic if this wasn't a serious question but NM. CR93's are more appropriate fitting for the car. Shame those Type-R wheels don't fit the car, specially the FD2 wheels… they could look pretty good in it.

Just because you can physically put them on the car doesn't mean it is something you should do. Also the serious question comment was about a wheel spacer fixing the width issue of the wheels. A spacer does not widen a wheel it just lowers the offset pushing the wheel out.
