What if I use wheel spacers??? Would 4 S2000 rear wheels fit then??? I just really like the S2000 wheel, even though I can get a set of aftermarket wheels 17X7 with 40mm offset. That's perfect for my car!!!

I actually sold my stock wheels to a prelude owner. He had the full Tein adjustable suspension on his lude with like a 3 inch drop. With the S2000 stocks on it did rub for like a week. He lifted his car about an inch and it was a little better but still rubbed pretty bad. He has now taken them off. Infact I got them back and took the SO2s off and used them for my SSRs. Hope this helps you out.

Where was it rubbing??? Was it rubbing up front or in the back??? Was it rubbing to the fender or in the inside??? Was the wheels flushed to the fender??? A little more info would be appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Hey Unicorn, What offset would you suggest on a set of 215/35/18 F, 225/40/18 R to make it flush?

That makes no sense on a FWD car.
Prelude factory wheel offset IS +55.
If you must have the S2000 wheels, use 4 fronts or use 4 rears with spacers.

OK i may get alot of flack on this, but i gotta ask someone to help me out here! I'm grabbing the j's front fender flares and rear flares but want a wheel that will line up relatively flush to them, i've viewed countless postings on what should be done for stock, rolled, shaved fenders etc. and it's just making my head spin.

-So here's the story: i want to grab 17" Volk CE28N's and i want to wrap them in 255/40's. To my knowledge just based off that i'm looking at a rim of 17X9.
-Now say were looking at a stock s2k without fender flares and taking into consideration stock size and offset of 7.5 width, +48mm (front) and 8.5 width, +54mm (rear). Would i be correct to assume that if i use the 17x9's with stock offset of 48mm(front) and 54mm(rear), that the front rims would be sitting 38mm(1.5") and the rear 13mm(.5") further from the vehicle?
-If so lets slap on those fenders that flares that are out 35mm more, BUT WAIT!!what about the offset needed from the stock wheels to the inside of the stock fender!!!??? that couldn't be more than an inch(25mm) anyway right? LOL- K so lets slap on the estimated-25mm for the offset needed to make the rims flush for a stock s2k and add the additional offset of 35mm for the fender flares and we have a estimated 60mm in total to make'm look a'nicey nice.
- SO all that said an done do i need a 17x9 with a 60mm offset to just slap those shoes on and have them fit like a glove? or do i just need a new brain? haha..."YoU gOtTa HeLp Me!"

You have a lot going on here, I'll try to sort it out. Stock AP2 offset is 7" +55 front, 8.5" +65 rear. The most common non-staggered fit on a stock body is 9" +63, fairly close to stock fitment but slightly more aggressive. It would extend 17mm in front and 8mm in rear compared to stock.

Now if you have 35mm extra clearance, you can run either 9" +35 (out 28mm compared to +63) or 9" +22 (out 41mm compared to +63) depending on how aggressive you want to go. Keep in mind you would have to do fender work that would not be reversible (cutting, etc) in the rear to get the extra clearance. The front would be a complete bolt-on change so you could always go back to stock.

Hmmm, yes i like this... you've been a great help, the +63 may be the offset i'm lookin for.
After some thought; i'm being overzealous lol even though i'd like it to be flush with the flares, it may not be a sound decision..even then i'd prolly have to roll the flares if i wanted the car lower than it already is, and for the most part thats just going to far.
This car will be on the track, i could always just get some spacers for the car shows! haha

Thanks again, really appreciate it!

+63 is what people run on stock body S2000s... 1nate was saying if you have 35mm extra you can run a 9 +35 or a 9 +22 depending on how much camber you wanna run etc...

Basically if you get flares and get the 9 +63 the wheels will look sunk and not that good imo... if you do 9 +63 just don't get flares
