Default Contisportcontact 3 thoughts?

I remember a while back that when sport compact car did their s2000 suspension shootout, the spec tire was the Continental Contisportcontact 3. Has anyone had these on their S? Or heard anything about them?

I'm in a position to be able to get some relatively cheap, but am wondering if they will fit my needs like the Star Specs or Kumho XS, or RT-615ks would.

Whether or not they'll fill your needs depends on what your needs are! They aren't likely to provide as much dry grip as the other tires you mention, and probably not as much wet grip as the starspecs. But for the street I wouldn't worry about it. They look to be decent enough tires, if not best in category. If you *really* got a good price on them and need tires, why not?
