You got the correct tires.
Most other model tires need a 245 to get the same tread width as the S02's in 225.
Just about every manufacturer of tire has online spec sheets with all the particulars for each tire they make on their website somewhere.

S02 info here's a link to Bridgestone's web page on the S02. There are 2 versions of the 225/50/15 One for the S2000 and 1 for the Boxster. The S2000 tire has a 'W' speed rating and the Boxster has a 'Z' speed rating.

The S2000 tire has a 0.4 inch greater tread width than the Boxster tire, So even if you wound up with the wrong one you have 1.0 in of stagger vs 1.4 in of stagger, which is still more than a lot of people are running with various other tire combinations.
Hopefully whoever sold you the tires sold you the correct ones. Seriously folks, if you have any doubts about what to buy, I'd suggest going through Jim@tirerack to make sure you don't make a mistake like this one. Great deals, great service, fast shipping, and very knowledgable.

(psst! Hey Jim, you can send my $100 cupon to.... just kidding)
