Default Correct offset help???

Hi all,

I am looking into a set of new rims and I found and would like to know if they will if properly. By properly I mean: no rubbing, no tire sticking outside the wheel well, the ability to lower the car about one inch.
I was looking at a 18x8 for the front and 18x9 in the rear, what would the proper offset be? I was think about +54 in the front and +63 in the rear???
But I want to be sure before I call to order them.

Also what are the best aftermarket tires for the car other than the stock oem S02's, or can I get those tires in the above size?

Thanks in advance!!
-John

Those offsets are about what I would recommend!
I'm not sure about what's the next best tires than the SO-2's. I'm running SO-3's, they are nice, but they are pretty heavy tires!
The sizes should 225/40 up front and 255/35 or 265/35 rear.
Good luck!

My 18" set up is as follows 18 x 8 55 offset 225/40-18 (fronts) 18 x 9 65 offset 265/35-18 (rears). Lowered one inch on Eibach springs and no rubbing.
