Thumbs up Correct Tire preassure on 18's?

I was in doubt on the proper tire preasure of my tires, since i have up sized them from OEM 17's to 18's 225/40 front 245/35 rear, what should be the correct tire preasure for street/highway driving? tires state a 50 psi max but thats way too much for my understanding...
i currently have 38 all around; is that ok? too much?

thanks

You would still want to run the OE air pressure. The PSI is based on the car and not the tire and wheel on the car. Stay with the same is my recommendation. Unless it is track and then you are going to need to do a trial and error to determine the correct pressure for you.
