Default Correct Tires?

I'm looking for a rear set of tires, I need something that will grip in wet rainy weather(being I live in not so sunny Florida) Ive tried two different set since Ive owned the car,but both rear sets didn't seem to stick to the ground in wet weather. Is there a set that will prevent me from sliding or is it just the nature of the beast of owning an S

I loved my General Exclaims UHPs in the wet. I like my HTRZ IIIs a lot too. Biggest thing in the rain is to control your inputs and let the car do its thing - don't try to correct in a hydroplane, etc.

And never lift when the car is hydroplaning. I do like the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position and the Sumitomo HTRZ III. Both of these tires are excellent. The Bridgestones have a 100.00 mail in rebate right now.
If I can help let me know.
