Mixing and matching tires
I have a set of BBS LM's that came with Dunlop 9000's on them. The rear tires were absolutely gone, so I need new rear tires. The front are still in good condition, but I cannot justify getting the dunlops again for the back as I was not too impressed with their performance... I ordered a set of Eagle F1's and was wondering if the differences in the quality of the tires will cause problems. I am aware that having a bit more grip in the rear than in the front would cause some understeer, but I'm not sure other than that... Help me out here...
The S2000 is not a good car to run mismatched tires on. I would replace the fronts with the same tires, ASAP.
You're really compromising handling and safety doing this.
Some people will disagree with me though.
