CR tire Size (Diameter)
I was wonder is there a problem with a half inch diameter diffrence? cause the cr uses 215/45/17 and 255/40/17 which has a half inch difrence in diameter. would this cause a problem with abs? can i run those sizes on a ap1? Reason being i ahve volks and i think 225/45/17 will rub since front off set is 50
Unless you have a front swaybar, you would probably be safest with the 215/255.
However, I have the volk CE28n wheels also and run the 225/255 with a big comptech adj front swaybar and have a bit of understeer when not agressive and very neutral when getting on it. And there is no rubbing with the 225 up front and I'm lowered about .5" running 1.75 deg front negative camber.

^^ Offset is the same as your volks...aren't yours CE28n's?
Yes, I'm sure about the ABS...I'm running that tire combo now.
The stiffer front sway bar allows me to increase understeer (it also helps to keep the inside rear tire in contact with the road durning hard cornering). Here is an article that can help explain more:

Just wanted to clear it up. The OP has the tire sizes posted as 215/45 and 255/50, but the accual rear CR tire size is 255/40. Most likely a miss type but I wanted to make sure you dont order the wrong sizes.
