Default Desmonds at autocross

Ok so I picked up some desmond brights. They are 17x8 +45 and 17x9 +45. I just got my Dunlop direzza star spec in 215/45/18 and 245/4017. I'm lowered on the eibach pro kit. What are the chances I will rub or what can I do besides roll the fenders? No one in town does it.

Run a lot of camber is your only other option if you don't want to touch the fenders. I think you will rub with those offsets

That's what I was hoping. I'm gonna try the wheels on and see if they stick out alot if not ill mount them on some ap2 v1's. I'm worried about shock travel. I can fit two fingers under the fender. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow I need to figure out this dilema before autocross may 9!!

On the autocross without a lot of suspension travel you might be ok. I also think you should run more negative camber to give yourself the most clearance.

At they very least, I'm going to say you're going to rub the plastic liner/tabs on the edge. Not quite destroying the fenders, but enough to be annoying. I have autox'd with +48 17x7.5s with 215/45-17 RE01Rs and started to chew into the plastic pretty well - -1.5 degrees front camber and 440lb front springs.

I took a closer look at this dilema and funny thing is I'm not worried about the back. I think with enough negative camber in the back I will barely clear with 245's at full compression on a sharp turn.

BUT the front is slightly lower and looks like the suspension will compress enough to grind tire against fender liner. Is taking of the liner on the front fenders a common thing with s2000 owners who actually track their cars?

I'm on eibach pro kit btw

I had the same size setup, and I had to remove the inner fender liner to prevent it from rubbing. Besides that though, everything was great, just run some negative camber (which is only going to help you w/ your lap times as long as it's part of a well-balanced setup) and you're fine, no need to roll unless you're dealing with crazy suspension travel situations.

I mounted the wheels today, Speechless. I'll post pictures soon. It looks like I can get away with it with some camber as stated above. But I will post pictures for expert opinions.
