Default tire sizing help

Im looking at running 17x8 et 35 and 17x9 et37. Will I be able to run a 255/40 in the back, or should i stick with a 245/40? Also how many degrees camber will i have to run to have a flush look.
I come from a different scene where we run a 235 on a 10 and poke is OK! hhaha VWs

you will definately need to have your fenders rolled and rear bumper tab relocated. +37 is VERY aggressive..i doubt they will fit without extensive fender modification.

im running:

17x7+38 225/45/17 (-2.5 degrees camber)
17x9+42 255/40/17 (-4.0 degrees camber)

lowered on eibach springs and i still rub in the rear on certain bumps.

With that width and offset go as narrow as you can on the tires. It is still going to take some work on the fenders to fit.

You still have to work the fender to avoid rubbing

I don't know how much of use this would be but I fitted 235/40 on a 17x9 +47 in the front without much work, but i still need to roll the fenders and do something about the liners.

on the rears, I'm mounting 17x9 +35 with 255/40 and it juts out a good bit.. I need to drop, camber, roll and cut bumper tabs for it to fit.. maybe slight pull.
