Default Different tire makes front and rear

I am not sure if this should be in Wheel and Tires or Racing, but here goes. Can you run Hoosiers in front and Victo's in the rear or will that really screw up the handling at the track/ autoX?

Mixing and matching is never a good idea man.

Although not ideal, it's not like you're mixing and matching left and right side tires. Front and rear mixing and matching won't be too significant as long as you're going with similar tires. ie: two R-compounds. Again, not ideal and you'd definitely want to experiment slowly before you go all out on the track and end up losing it in a turn because of your tire setup.

That's what I thought, but I found a good deal on some front Hoosiers.
